To reset a forgotten password or unlock your account, you will need to be enrolled in the CIT Password Portal's system. This way the system can verify your identity using your pre-selected security questions.

If you haven't already enrolled in the CIT Password Portal and need help accessing your account, contact the support desk.

Enroll in the CIT Password Portal

Visit the CIT Password Portal.

Select Enroll. 

Enter your username, domain (cit.ucar.edu), password, and non-UCAR email address. 

Select three security questions and use answers that you will remember if you're ever locked out of your account. 

Select Next and complete any remaining prompts to finish enrolling.
