A delegate is an individual authorized to act on behalf of another person.

In Concur, there are four types of delegates:

  1. Prepare
  2. Approve
  3. Preview
  4. Reporting

To learn about each of these delegate roles, visit the Identifying Delegates guide. As a delegate, you will only see the areas you can access on the individual’s behalf. For example, you must be an approver’s "Approve Delegate" before you can access the Approve area on behalf of that approver.

You must first be identified as someone’s delegate before you can act on her/his behalf. Visit the Identifying Delegates guide for employee delegation, or the Adding Concur Delegates for Non-Employees guide for non-employee delegation details.
