Managing Carts
Changes can be made to carts any time before they are submitted for approval. If you need to make changes to a requisition (submitted cart) that is pending approval, first ask the Approver to return the requisition.
- Unassign your cart from the Requester to modify it.
- Modify your cart to add / change / remove items or change the account key(s), shipping address, or business justification.
- Consolidate carts to combine multiple carts into one larger shopping cart. This allows you to submit one order to the supplier instead of multiple smaller orders.
- Process carts assigned to you by someone else (if you are a Requester).
Managing Requisitions & POs
If you need to make changes to a requisition that is pending approval, first ask the Approver to return the requisition and then refer to the Managing Carts guidance above.
- Request a change order to modify a purchase order (PO).
- Withdraw a requisition when a purchase is no longer needed. Alternatively, if the approver is unavailable to return the requisition, withdraw it to copy it to a new cart and resubmit.
- Determine a requisition’s status and who has approved it.
- Search for the requisition.
- Search for the PO once the requisition is approved.
